Once a time period is done, timesheets will need to be approved. As an account owner, you will have access to approve all employee timesheets. Admins and supervisors can also approve all timesheets but supervisors can only approve timesheets for employees assigned to them as direct reports.
Timesheets can be approved within a custom selected time period that account owners and admins can configure from the time & attendance configuration settings. A notification will also be visible at the top of the employee timesheet summary page when the approval window is open. Timesheets will be auto-approved if not manually done within the specified amount of days.
To approve individual timesheets, follow these steps...
1. From the Time Clock page/My Team view tab, select the employee you wish to approve.
2. After confirming their timesheet looks accurate, click the 'Approve' button from the upper righthand side.
Timesheets can also be bulk approved to save you time. To approve timesheets in bulk, follow these steps...
1. From the Time Clock page/My Team view tab, check off each employee you wish to approve. The check boxes will only be visible if the selected time periods timesheets are ready to be approved.
2. Then when finished, click on the 'Approve' button from the upper righthand side to bulk approve all selected timesheets.
Note: Timesheets cannot be approved until the approval time window opens. If you make edits to a timesheet that was previously approved, you will need to reapprove the timesheet again.
