Self-service allows employees to gain access to the platform so they can access their information and perform tasks as applicable based on each employees assigned permission level/role. Once invited, staff will receive an email with a registration link so they can set up a password and login to the site.
Any staff members you want to have access to the site must complete the self-service registration process before they can correctly login to Personelle. In order for an employee to be invited, they also must have a work email address documented in their directory profile.
There are two ways to invite employees into the platform. You can invite an individual employee from their directory profile or you may invite employees in bulk.
How to invite individual employees to self-service
1. Navigate to the employee's directory profile.
2. Select the Permissions tab.
Note: You will only see the permissions tab if a work email address is listed for the employee in their profile.
3. Then select the 'Send Invite' button.
4. The employee will then receive an email with a link to register for self-service and create a password. The employee will then be able to login to your company account based on the permission level/role you assign to them.
Note: All invite emails expire within 24 hours of being sent. If staff is not able to register within that timeframe, then you will need to resend the invite to the employee before they can correctly register for self-service.
After an employee has registered for self-service, the system will no longer allow you to resend a new invite.
How to bulk invite employees to self-service
1. On the directory page, select the three dot ellipsis symbol to the left of the 'add employee' button.
2. Then select 'Invite Employees'.
3. On the next screen, select the employees from your directory that you want to bulk invite.
4. After making your selections, click the 'Send Invitations' button on the bottom right.
5. The selected employees will then receive emails with the link to register for self-service and create their login passwords.
